Love is not Arrogant

I have seen some of the ministers of God (not all of them) who behaves arrogant, I used to think why? These people are truly called by God, they are anointed, God is working through them, but why do they behave conceited sometimes.

Then I understood it’s a pride that makes them behave so, they get into a pride that they are being used by God and they are living a holy life comparable to others. So they almost behave like a Pharisees and Sadducees of Jesus’ time.

I don’t mean to judge God’s men that way, God forbid. But let us examine our ownself; we too behave conceited many times with our own family when we are grownup little bit in the spiritual life. If we are reading our bible daily and praying daily, then we start behave conceited with our own family sometimes, isn’t it? If we are blessed and grown up better than others, pride slowly lift it’s head in our life, isn’t it?

I Corinthians 13:4 says, Love is not Arrogant (ESV).

It means, being not arrogant is what love is. I Corinth. 13:2 says, If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Growing in the spiritual life and doing God’s ministry and having call of God don’t matters if we are arrogant and do not have love, and we are nothing.
Let God help us to be in Love and Let us be vigilant to keep ourself from pride and arrogance.

Peace be unto you!!
