Known Song or New Song?

Lately we were in informal gathering and communion with our fellow brothers, and we all had a little bit of argument upon which song to sing. Many said we should sing a known song which everyone can sing along. Few suggested new unknown song to be sung.

Well, what would be your suggestion?

Bible says, in Psalms 149:1, “Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of
the saints.”

The above verse says Sing a New song to the Lord in the assembly of His saints.

If we sing any song which Holy Spirit inspires that is the great way to worship the Lord. And another beautiful way to please the Lord is, singing a new song for Him. Whenever you can hear, learn and sing a new song in worship, willingly go for it. Through that you would be pleasing the Lord and the Lord would be speaking to you through the lyrics in that songs.
