WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR DESTINATION, YOU KNOW WHICH MINISTRY TO SERVE

After this, Jesus went around in Galilee, purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews there were waiting to take his life. (John 7:1)

In many occasions people tried to kill Jesus. But Jesus avoided those circumstances, He acted shrewdly and escaped the traps. But His very purpose is to die for mankind, yet, He escaped himself from murderers. Because He had destination in mind, that is at specific time and specific way He wanted to achieve specific purpose, that is crucifixion on the cross.

You may be in the ministry doing God’s work. You may want to do a lot. But there should be specific purpose and calling for you. God might have given you specific destiny and vision. Search within you, what it is. That may be small things or big things in people eyes. Don’t care about it, do what God tells you to do. And don’t get distracted by every opportunity of ministry / jobs that comes on your way. Jesus was never distracted in fulfilling his purpose while there were many opportunities for him to get engaged and forget his purpose.

If he would have engaged, he might have not fulfilled crucifixion and resurrection. I am not advocating to stop supporting your church and other ministries. It is always better to do something rather than nothing. When you do something, then you will know what you need to do & when to do.
