CONSISTENT WITH REPENTENCE

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Mathew 3:8

Every believer in Christ comes through repentance in order to be saved. That’s the part of salvation. Sometime we need to repent of our sins even after being saved. The point here is, are we consistent with our repentance? Or after repented, are we going back to the old life? John the Baptist says in Mathew 3:8 “Produce fruit in keeping with Repentance.” In order to live a fruitful life, we need to be consistent in our repentance.

Now, How to live in constant repented life? The answer is we need to have more of God in our life. It means more of His Word, More of His Spirit, and constant fellowship with Him and More Prayer life. When you have more of Him, you have less of everything else. When you have more of Him, you have more of His power, when you have more power; you are free indeed to live a life that is consistent with repentance and eventually you produce fruits.

In John 15:5 Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;” The secret to fruitful life is more of Him in our life and being remain in Him.

Peace be with you!
