WHO IS JESUS TO YOU

Many people know Jesus. If you ask them, they generally say “yes we know Jesus.” They know him because they heard this name in many places. Some may even describe Him as he was a good man, or he is Christian God, or they may portray him in comparison to Buddha or Gandhi. But they actually do not know who Jesus is, that is why we need to present the gospel.

Today if you believe in Jesus, Who is Jesus to you? Bro. Derek Prince said in one of his tapes that everyone must have personal revelation of who is Jesus. When Jesus asked his disciples, who do you say that I am, Peter answered “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Mat. 16:15-16). I believe this is important knowledge and revelation which everyone must have.

Let’s look at others in the Bible, The rich young ruler known him as good teacher, but that could not save him. For People He was John the Baptist or Elijah or one of the Prophets.For Pharisees and Sadducees, He was a teacher. But none of these knowledges had saved them. But whoever had the knowledge and revelation that ‘Jesus is Lord and Son of David (Promised son of God) had been saved.

TheSyrophoenician woman a non-Jew (other religion)had the knowledge that Jesus is “Lord, Son of David (Messiah)” had saved her daughter from demon”. Bartimaeus the blind man who cried to Him “Jesus, Son of David (Messiah) have mercy on me (Amp. Bible)” had regained his sight.

Today check who Jesus is to you, and check with the people whom you are presenting the gospel to. It is important to know that ‘Jesus is Lord, the Son of the living God’, so that we shall be delivered from demons, blindness and sickness and be saved for eternal life.
