Happy Christmas

Happy Christmas!!!

We wish you a Merry Christmas. May God fill you with His Grace, Blessings and Joy on this beautiful day.

What is Christmas? I would like to share a few words about it.

In the Bible, Isaiah 9:6 says, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Christmas is the Day where God who is mighty and powerful, who is trinity in being was born on earth like a helpless baby.

Babies are helpless; someone always needs to take care of them all the time. We have to feed them, nursing them, cleaning them, make them to sleep and protect them from any harm, etc. Isn’t it?

When Jesus was born on earth He was not supernatural baby to take care of Himself, but in the same form of every other baby. Though He was Son of God, He too needed all those care.

He was born fully human and He lived Human. And at the age of 33 years He gave His life on the Cross. Even at the cross He did not show His power to restrain the people who crucified Him, but died. God’s power to serve Jesus was shown only after His death, on the third day to raise Him, from death to life.

Do you know why God has done all this? In order to show His love for you. To save you from going to Hell, to forgive you of all your mistakes and sins, to save you from the troubles of this life, to provide you with all earthly blessing and protection and to make you useful. Christmas is God’s demonstration of His love toward you. Jesus loves you.

That is what Christmas is!! And that is why we celebrate this day as one of our happiest day.
