In which portion of the body contains our Life?

Have you ever thought about where the life of a human will be stored in the body? Some think that it is inside their heart, some say it is in the middle of the body between the chest and tummy, and some say it cannot be told.

What bible say about it?

Leviticus 17:11&14 says, “For the life of a creature is in the blood…the life of every creature is its blood.”

The very lives of humans are in their blood. That’s the reason why when a person loses all his blood he dies, or when a person dies his blood freezes. The blood flows through all portions of our body, which means life flows through all portions of our body.

Romans 6:23 says the payment of sin is death, and Hebrews 9:22 says without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

That is why our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ shed all his blood, his very life on the cross as a payment of our sins and brought forgiveness to us.

My dear friends, though the Lord purified all things, but still we are forbidden to eat blood, in the New Testament as well. Acts 21:25 says, “abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood …”

Therefore even now, God doesn’t approve of us eating the blood of any animal at all, because the life of a creature is in its blood. Some people have an appetite for it, but sorry, please make sure to free yourself from such things.
