Which is great: Knowledge or Love?

I recently heard a story of a Nurse who was working in a Hospital. This nurse was very caring and very loving toward others. She knows and does her duty correctly. In her service, she was not only just doing her duty, but she goes beyond her duty and care for the patients.

When they are in pain she console them, when they need some assistance beyond her obligation she does them willingly. Eventually the hospital promoted to more responsible posistion.

I have also seen some Senior Nurses who always look furious, they are very knowledgeable about their duty but they don’t love patients. Sometimes I had been to hospitals, when the doctors and nurses talked with me in more concern, it gave more strength to quick recovery.

In 1 Corinthians 8:1 Bible says, “Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.”

Knowledge is important in any field to become an expert, even for successful ministry Bible knowledge is important, but if we have only knowledge and not love, then it will be like an empty balloon that is puffed up and with small poke of needle it breaks.

However, along with knowledge if we are filled with love, we shall be more fruitful to others and we shall glorify God.

Peace be unto You!
