AFRAID OF BAD NEWS
Psalms 112:7 He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
The righteous man will have no fear of bad news, he is strong in the face of adverse situation because he trusts in the Lord. (According to Romans 3:24 You are righteous through Jesus)
We live in the world filled with uncertainties & evil. Sometimes we hear bad news, there are various kind of bad news, that may be, losing a job, doctor’s bad report, loss in business, Child is not well, breaking of relationship, etc. But, what is our immediate response when we hear such bad news? Are we afraid about what we heard or are we keeping our mind cool? The one who trust in the Lord will not be afraid, his heart will be steadfast because he trusts in the Lord.
Bible says, blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust. (Ps.40:4). Make the Lord your trust for everything. Trust Him for your life, for your family, for your Job, for your health, for your finances and for the protection of your family and for everything else which is important to you. So, when bad news come in these areas, you will not be afraid, your heart will be steadfast because you would know the Lord is in control.
