CALM THE STORM

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. (Mt. 8:26)

Like sudden storm on the sea, sometimes we also face sudden storms in our life. Unexpected health issues, unexpected financial strains, seemingly unsolvable issues of life. But in the midst of the storms, one thing we need to remind ourselves is, “Fear Not”. Why shouldn’t we fear? Because there is someone greater than the storm is with us and for us. If we are afraid, it means we do not trust him, we are not giving him control.

In Mathew 8:26 in the middle of the raging storm Jesus was asking His disciples ‘WHY ARE YOU SO AFRAID?’ Jesus the very Son of God was with them, yet they were afraid. So Jesus asked them ‘Why are you so Afraid?’ And when He rebuked the winds and the waves it was completely calm.

Are you in the middle of the storm today? Are you so afraid? DON’T BE AFRAID, because He who is greater than that health issue, greater than that financial strain, greater than any plague, greater than that unsolvable problem, (Jesus) is with you and for you. Now according to John 14:12 you can rebuke that storm by His name and it will be completely calm.
