WAIT FOR THE LORD WITH CONFIDENCE
It is good that one waits quietly for the salvation of the Lord. – Lamentations 3:26
Sometimes we go through the turmoil of life, what we do in the midst of such daunting troubles? Are we trying to find deliverance from people, or through money or from doctor or from uncle or some relative? Bible says “It is good that one waits quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”
There is one famous song “When the oceans rise and thunders roar… I will be still and know you are God” Yes, If you are in the midst of biggest fear zone, don’t panic, Pray to God and wait quietly for Him with confident expectation. He will never put to shame those who trust in Him. Wait for Him rather than trusting someone else. You will see that, the Lord is God and mighty deliverer.
I have 4 years old handsome boy child Joshua, when he was 4 months old, one fine night he started crying too much and developed stomach pain and vomiting, and we rushed to hospital. The doctors diagnosed it as INTESTINAL INTERCEPTION. They said the condition is very severe. Doctors tried all their way to fix it for few hours without surgery, it’s all failed, the condition continued to worsen for next day. And they told us to go for surgery immediately without any delay. Imagine my four month first child had to go through operation in his intestine and he had been crying for last 24 hours without any food intake. It was unimaginable pain for me and my wife. But one thing we did, we trusted God, if He gave us a child, He will heal & deliver him from this danger and will give him a long life, so we prayed and we trusted and we quieted ourselves in God. Surgery started, God gave wisdom to doctors, and the operation was successful, and our child recovered in couple of days. All glory to God alone.
The reason I am telling this event is, if we go through any trouble or danger, remember this, “when the oceans rise and thunders roar, be still and know that He is God. And as written in Lam.3:26. It is good that one waits quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Wait for him hopefully, expectantly and with confidence, He will deliver you, He will heal you and He will bless you.
Peace be unto you!
