PRAYER IN THE MIDDLE OF BUSY SCHEDULE

Luke 5:16 – But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Is it possible to pray during our busy schedule? Jesus was one of the busiest men on the earth, He had to teach the word, he had to heal the sick, he had to cast out demons, he had to confront the religious leaders. But in Luke 5:16 we see Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray in the midst of his busy schedule. In Luke chapter 5, there were lot of sick people waiting for Him to get healed, but He walked over to spend time alone in prayer.

Maybe you are thinking ‘you are doing God’s work and His will only, so no need to have special time for prayer.’ Well, what about Jesus, He was doing the perfect will of God, yet, was he not praying?  Jesus knew in order to fulfill God’s will and to fulfill His purpose, He need to be praying lonely.

Today, you may be in the Job which God gave you or may be doing the ministry which God entrusted to you but follow the example which Jesus has shown you. Find and spend your time praying alone in the presence of God. You will find more strength and more power to do successfully what you have to do.
