BE FEARFUL OF GOD’S HOUSE
Most of us go to church every week, some people go more often than one time, I go to church for three or four times in a week. Some of my fellow believers are going to our church almost every day for the ministry reasons. But we need to check how our attitude towards the church. Are we considering it just a building or are we taking it for granted because it’s a well known and habituated place for us.
It’s true, the church is not a building; the church is us. But when we all gather in one place regularly, surely God is present there, when there is God, how much fearful we must be. If we read Mark. 11:17 Jesus said, “Is it not written: “`My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it `a den of robbers’.” Jesus was furious here when He saw the people treating the house of God so ignorantly and fearlessly making all kind of merchandise and may be cheating works.
The church is the house of Prayer were all nations come, where many people who have God in their heart comes to worship him. We must be fearful whenever we enter it. We must give the due respect and reverence to it. Do not act anything that will degrade the value of the church in your attitude. Take care of your words and deeds while you are in the church because Jesus is jealous and furious for the church.
