ARE YOU IN ANGER TILL EVENING?

“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.Ephesians 4:26-27

We all get angry sometime, but we need to check what the time limit we have given it. Are we angry for days, are we angry for months and years? Bible says in Ephesians 4:26-27 if we let the angry remain in us we are giving a foothold to the devil.

How about a fight between husband and wife. In the initial times of marriage, both husband and wife live with lot of love, they adjust with each other, but as time goes it changes and they easily get angered with their spouse. Getting angry is okay, because we all humans. But, how are we dealing it, Are we staying with it for longer duration, or,Are we letting it go?When you let it stay for longer, you have already given a foothold to devil to spoil your relationship.

How to overcome him and not let him spoil your marriage? When there is fight between you and your spouse, settle the matter before you go to bed. Forgive your spouse and say sorry even though you are right. Make daily family prayer as mandatory practice. Make sure your fight ends before you go to bed or before you go to dinner, otherwise the devil is ready to make it worse, he will keep remind you the mistakes of your spouse and will extend the friction to next day and to next days. Some couples starts with meaningless fight and they continue to fight for every day and do not settle it and finally they end up in divorce.

Dear friend, do not give the devil a foothold. If there is friction, fight, conflict and anger, settle it before the sun goes down. Forgive, forget, say sorry, and pray with that person. God will restore and protect your relationship.
