HOW TO LOVE GOD?

Loving a person can be expressed in many ways: by pleasing the person in all things, or by doing whatever they ask or by spending time with them, etc. Now, how about loving God? Can we love Him in the same ways? Yes,all of the above are right to show our love to God. However, there is a specific way we can prove toHim that we love Him.

John. 14:15 says, “If you love me, you will obey what I command. And John 14:21 says, Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me…” By obeying His words and commands we can evidently prove that we Love God. And in the same verseJesus also telling, “…He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him”

It means when you love God, He is going to love you back.I don’t mean, if you love Him then only He will love you back, No. He always loves us, because He is our Father. I have a son 4 years old, whom I love naturallyirrespective of his behavior and naughtiness, because I am his father. But, when he obeys me without argument I really feel more love towards him. And I bless him with whatever he wants with Joyful heart.

I believe, God too have the same feeling as a Father, when we obey him wholeheartedly. Obey his commands and let Him know how much you love Him and how much He means to you.
